Emergency readiness, worked out for your own home

Know how many days your household would last.

Walk through your home and say what you see. Days Covered counts it against sourced requirements and tells you how long your water, food, heat and power would hold out in a winter outage, a hurricane or a job loss. Then it gives you the shortest plan to close the gaps.

Free for one person, with 25 Claude actions a month. $12 a month adds your partner and enough for a whole-house walkthrough.

How it works

From a messy garage to a plan in an afternoon

  1. Answer the Quick Pass

About 30 minutes on who lives with you, your house and how you'd get home. Skip anything; estimates are fine to start.

  2. Walk a room and say what you see

"Two cases of water, six cans of black beans, a 7500-watt generator." Phone dictation goes in, Claude sorts it into items, you check and confirm.

  3. See your days covered

A Scorecard per Scenario: how many days each area lasts against your target, what fails first, and the math behind every number.

  4. Close the gaps, keep it current

A phased plan with quick wins and a shopping list. Reminders to rotate water and test the generator, and a printable Binder for when the internet is down.

Numbers you can check

The math is code, not a chatbot

Every Need, Have and Days Covered figure is computed by the app from a published ruleset: gallons per person per day, calories by age, heating load by house. Each rule names its source, and you can see the math behind any number and adjust a rule for your household.

Claude only does the language: it turns what you say into items, words your plan, and explains your Scorecard. Any number in its answers is checked against the app's own.

  • 22 preparedness areas: water, food, power, heat and cooling, medical, sanitation, communications, documents and cash, get-home and more.
  • Scenarios for your region: pick from 13 US hazard profiles, from Gulf Coast hurricanes to Pacific earthquakes and Midwest blizzards.
  • Two targets: what you're closing now (14 days by default) and what you're building toward (90 days).
  • Shelter in place, evacuate, or get home on foot when you're at work.

Private by design

We can't read your sensitive details

Names, medications, where the cash is kept and the safe combination go in your household's Vault. It's encrypted on your device with a passphrase only your household knows, so the server stores ciphertext it can't open.

If our database leaked tomorrow, it would show how many cans of beans you have, not who you are or where the valuables are.

OpenSupplies, gear, countsStored as text so the app can do the math. Can go to Claude to parse and explain.
Sensitive · encryptedNames, health, addressesSent to Claude only for an analysis you start, with a box you tick each time. Never stored by us in readable form.
Secret · encryptedSerials, combinations, account numbersNever leave your device unencrypted. Never sent to Claude.

Questions

FAQ

Is an AI deciding how prepared we are?

No. The app computes every number from a ruleset with sources (federal and Red Cross guidance, utility data, nutrition tables). Claude parses what you dictate, words the plan and explains the Scorecard. If it states a number the app didn't compute, the answer isn't shown.

What does Claude see?

The words you dictate in a Capture (after the app removes anything that looks like a code, PIN or account number) and your open data when you ask for an explanation. Sensitive details go only when you tick "Include sensitive details" for that one run. Secret details never go. We don't keep the requests.

What counts as a Claude action?

One request to Claude: parsing a Capture, reading a nutrition label photo, an interview reply, explaining your gaps, an Ask Claude question, drafting Plan Tasks or narrating a drill day. Everything else, including all the math, uses none.

Does it work when the power and internet are out?

The app needs a connection, but it's built for that day: save the Binder (a printable, self-contained file with your Scorecard, plans, shutoffs and Family Cards) to your phones and print a copy. The encrypted Vault Backup keeps everything restorable.

Can my partner use it too?

Yes, on the Household plan. Invite them by email. They sign in with their own account and passphrase and see the same household. Up to 4 operators.

What if I forget my Vault passphrase?

Use the Recovery Key you printed at setup, or another operator's passphrase. We can't reset it for you: we never have the key, which is the point.

What happens if I cancel?

You go back to Free at the end of the period you paid for. Nothing is deleted, and every export keeps working. Delete your account any time from Account; the household is deleted with its last operator.

Is this professional emergency advice?

No. It's a planning tool that does careful arithmetic on published guidance. Follow instructions from your local emergency officials, and in an emergency call 911.
